The works exhibited by TOOLBOX examine reality from diverse perspectives and modes of expression and use a variety of techniques, materials and processes. Put together for the first time in Bussels through this exhibition at the K41 nordiKeye space, they disrupt our established ways of understanding, structuring, and interpreting, moving along the boundaries of perception, experience, and meaning and opening up space for multiplicity, ambiguity, and a sense of incompleteness.
Artist Cooperative TOOLBOX is an artist-run cooperative founded in 2012, jointly managed by Finnish and German artists. It operates in Berlin, Germany, and in Finland, organising exhibitions and exhibition exchanges. The most recent major exhibitions in Finland took place at the Helsinki Artists’ Association’s Haagalleria and Yö Galleria in the summer of 2024.
